On the day Elena officially becomes Crown Princess, she must rescue her sister Isabel from aboard a missing ship.

Elena is torn between a promise she made to help Isabel and fulfilling her royal duties as crown princess.

Elena visits the Kingdom of Cordoba to oversee construction of a bridge between it and Avalor but is convinced by lazy and spoiled Prince Alonso to shirk her royal duties. Elena must save the kingdom when the digging awakens a totem giant from Mayan folklore named the Yacalli.

During an archeological dig, Esteban accidentally releases a mischievous duende, a magical elf-like creature based on Latino folklore, who sets out on a mission to unleash hundreds of other duendes on Avalor.

Elena attends her first Royal Retreat as Crown Princess and learns that it is more important to do what is right than to fit in after a clashing disagreement with one of her fellow rulers.

On Dia de los Muertos, Elena discovers her ability to see ghosts and sets out to help the spirit of a woman mend the rift between her grandchildren and save the family restaurant.

When a moth fairy tries to bring "the gift of eternal darkness" to Avalor during a solar eclipse, Elena must learn how to control the magic in her royal scepter.

Elena laments how she was trapped in the magical Amulet of Avalor for forty-one years, until she was set free by a brave young Princess: Sofia The First.

Elena brings all the communities of Avalor together to share each other's holiday traditions. But when a Doña Paloma scheme causes an overly competitive atmosphere, Elena sets off on a traditional "parranda" and carols through the city to remind everyone of the true spirit of Navidad.

Elena helps coach Gabe when he joins Avalor's Royal "olaball" team despite being a terrible player.

Skylar is chosen to help train three young jaquins on defending the kingdom of Avalor.

On Isabel’s first day of school, she tries changing herself in order to fit in on a field trip to the Crystal Caverns.

Elena enters a fencing tournament disguised as "Knight Elezar" to prove that she is a great fencer.
