William O'Keeffe (2000-2024) was born in Glengoole on the Eve of the Gowl. He resided at the Devil's Bit until he was 23. He had never seen a film until he was 19 but made several from the age of 7. He developed 9.5mm reels of film by using the morning dew of the mountains along with oil from left over salmon. His 9.5mm black and white shorts have never seen the light of day as no one owns a 9.5mm projector anymore.
