Cha Rae‑hyung (born June 16, 1984) is a South Korean actor under Artist Company trained in Acting at Sejong University's Film and Performing Arts Department. After graduating, he built a foundation in theatre, performing in numerous Daehak‑ro productions such. He went on to appear in various independent films and short productions before gaining industry attention in 2016 with The Boys Who Cried Wolf, where his distinctive and textured performance positioned him as a rising "scene stealer" in Korean cinema.
Cha Rae‑hyung has since developed a steady career across film and television. He is frequently cast as figures of authority—police officers, detectives, correctional officers—but has also portrayed tougher characters, including gang members, most notably in The Worst of Evil, where his physical and expressive intensity stood out.
