Tarek Gustave El MoussaĀ (born August 21, 1981) is a real estate investor and television personality. He is best known for co-hostingĀ HGTV'sĀ Flip or FlopĀ alongside his wifeĀ Christina. The pair found successĀ flipping housesĀ as an alternative to their previous business of selling real estate, which took a hit during theĀ 2008 economic crisis. In 2020, he launched a second HGTV show,Ā Flipping 101 with Tarek El Moussa, in which he serves as a mentor to novice house-flippers.
He and Christina were married in 2009, had 2 children, and divorced in 2018, but despite their divorce, they continued working together onĀ Flip or Flop until 2022. He started dating actress and real estate agentĀ Heather Rae YoungĀ in 2019. They married October 23, 2021, at theĀ RosewoodĀ Miramar Beach Hotel inĀ Montecito.Ā The wedding was the subject of theĀ Discovery+Ā special Tarek and Heather: The Big I Do. They have 1 child together.
