ROBERT LINĀ Ā is a Chinese-American actor/writer/filmmaker based in New York and Beijing.Ā His major film acting credits include the starring role as Chairman Mao in Martin Scorsese directed Tibetan epicĀ Kundun, which was nominated for four Academy Awards.Ā He was also featured in 2003ās smash hitĀ School of RockĀ (Paramount Pictures) with Jack Black, and appeared inĀ Red CornerĀ (MGM) with Richard Gere. Other film credits includeĀ Green Card Fever,Ā Man of the Century,Ā Lift to Hell,Ā The Nightingale of Tibet,Ā IcebergĀ and just releasedFront Cover, an American comedy.
