Shazad LatifĀ (bornĀ Iqbal Amin; 8 July 1988) is a British actor who starred as Tariq Masood in theĀ BBCĀ TV seriesĀ Spooks, Clem H. Fandango onĀ Toast of London, andĀ Dr. Jekyll and Mr. HydeĀ inĀ Penny Dreadful. In 2017, he was cast as Chief of Security Ash Tyler in theĀ CBS All AccessĀ (nowĀ Paramount+) television seriesĀ Star Trek: Discovery. He also portraysĀ Captain NemoĀ in the live-action seriesĀ NautilusĀ from 2024.
