Biography
Jack Epps Jr.Ā (born November 3, 1949) is an AmericanĀ screenwriter,Ā author, andĀ educator known chiefly for such popular 1980s films asĀ Top Gun, Legal Eagles, andĀ The Secret of My Success, which he wrote with longtime partnerĀ Jim Cash. Epps Jr. graduated from the College of Arts and Letters atĀ Michigan State University and has since gone on to teach atĀ the University of Southern California.
