Sean PorterĀ is an American cinematographer.
Growing up inĀ Gig Harbor, Washington, he graduated from theĀ University of WashingtonĀ in 2004.Ā He has worked on films such asĀ It Felt Like Love,Ā Kumiko, the Treasure Hunter, andĀ Green Room.
In 2014, he was listed onĀ Filmmaker's "25 New Faces of Independent Film",Ā as well asĀ IndieWire's "Cinematographers to Watch"Ā andĀ Complex's "Underrated Cinematographers Poised to Make It Big in 2015".Ā In 2015, he was listed onĀ Variety's "10 Cinematographers to Watch".Ā In 2024, he became a member of theĀ American Society of Cinematographers.
