Yeun Sang-YeopĀ (Korean:Ā ģ°ģģ½; born December 21, 1983), known professionally asĀ Steven YeunĀ (/jŹn/Ā YUHN), is an American actor. Yeun initially became famous for playingĀ Glenn RheeĀ inĀ The Walking Dead (2010ā2016). He earned critical acclaim for the filmsĀ BurningĀ (2018) andĀ Ā MinariĀ (2020). The latter earned him a nomination for theĀ Academy Award for Best Actor, making him the firstĀ Asian AmericanĀ actor to be nominated.Ā TimeĀ magazine named him one of theĀ 100 most influential people in the worldĀ in 2021.Ā In 2023, he starred in the dark comedy seriesĀ BeefĀ (2023), for which he won twoĀ Primetime Emmy AwardsĀ and aĀ Golden Globe Award.
Yeun has also appeared in the filmsĀ OkjaĀ (2017),Ā Sorry to Bother YouĀ (2018),Ā The HumansĀ (2021) andĀ NopeĀ (2022).
