In 1980 he graduated from the acting department of GITIS (Andreev's workshop). Since 1982, for several years, he played at the Moscow Drama Theater on Malaya Bronnaya. In 1990-1992 - actor of the Studio Theater "Man". In 1992 he returned to the Theater on Malaya Bronnaya, where he worked until 1998, after which he devoted himself completely to cinema. He began acting in films since 1979, making his debut in the television movie “Vataga“ Seven Winds. ”Honored Artist of Russia (2005).
